Vocations

Born in 2001 of Divine Providence to support the Institute, the community has for its motto “In Corde Regis” (“in the Heart of the King”). The Sisters place themselves under the patronage of Saint Francis de Sales, Saint Benedict, and Saint Thomas Aquinas, together with Saint Jane de Chantal and Saint Margaret Mary, in tender devotion to the Immaculate Conception.

The Sisters’ life is ordered by the liturgy: Holy Mass and the Divine Office in the traditional Latin form, one hour of mental prayer in the morning and adoration in the afternoon, the Rosary and devotions. Their formation includes Gregorian chant, Latin, and needlework: embroidery and the making of liturgical vestments.

The Adorers live in enclosure, dedicated to eucharistic adoration and intercessory prayer for priests and souls. Their life is organized around the traditional Divine Office, communal adorations, manual work, and a rigorous community life. They are the contemplative arm of the Institute, supporting by their prayer the apostolic work of the canons.

The Adorers’ spirituality is rooted in:

• Reparatory adoration of the Sacred Heart and the Most Blessed Sacrament;
• Devotion to Mary, Mother of Priests;
• Spiritual union with priests in their daily eucharistic sacrifice;
• The Salesian charism of gentleness and charity, lived in enclosure.
